Tessa Eskander is a Ph.D. Student in ChBE at Vanderbilt. She has over 5 years of industry experience: 4.5 years as a research engineer for Visionary Fiber Technologies, Inc. and 6 months as a design engineer for Superior Graphite. During undergrad at Tennessee Tech University, she researched polymer rheology under Dr. Holly Stretz.

Outside of the lab, she dabbles in photography with one photo on the cover of 2020 Winter Biodiesel Magazine ( https://issuu.com/bbiinternational/docs/bdm-winter20-bid ) and previously ran the livestream for Texas Roller Derby (TXRD).
