Yuki

Yuki rose to academic notoriety after unveiling his own “Yuki-ized” take on the Upper Convected Maxwell model
\[\overset{\triangledown}{\mathbf{\tau}} + \frac{1}{\lambda}\,\mathbf{\tau}
= \eta\,\dot{\gamma} + \mathcal{Y}(t)\,\mathbf{H} - \mathcal{R}(t)\,\mathbf{B} \]
where (in Yuki's world):
  • \(\tau\) = internal cat stress (existential + Zephyr-induced)
  •  \(\lambda\) = relaxation time (how long Yuki stays in loaf before chaos resumes)
  •  \( \dot{\gamma} \) =  rate of deformation
  •  \(\mathcal{Y}(t) \) =  stubbornness coefficient of Yuki
  •  \(\mathbf{H}\) = human-prohibited configuration tensor
  • \(  \mathcal{R}(t)  \) = coefficient of human intervention (aka. "no Yuki no!")
  •  \(\mathbf{B}\) = barrier / boundary tensor
Yuki's own interpretation:

Even if Yuki briefly relaxes, any imposed structure is continuously upper convected away by intrinsic chaos.  The system is fundamentally unstable in the presence of forbidden surfaces.
